The dynamic musicians working with NW Live Arts explore the sounds of our planet – music of the air, sea, sky, forests and landscapes – in a programme of Bach, Bartók and Messiaen, interspersed with free improvisation, new composition and complimented by music from around the world. Sharing the stage, creative storytellers from the local community join the musical conversation, asking us to value our connections to nature and find a way to let the planet restore.
“I’m delighted that NW Live Arts has created a mission to actively create platforms where social themes and ideas can be delivered in engaging ways – directly into the hearts of communities by talented artists and musicians.” Kuljit Bhamra MBE
