Franck Violin Sonata
Beethoven Violin Sonata No. 7César Franck’s Violin Sonata is one of his best-known works, and has been described as one of the greatest violin sonatas in the repertoire. Franck’s melodic sonata is paired with Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 7, written during the composer’s middle period and characterised by expanded weight and forcefulness best demonstrated in his symphonies, but also present in his chamber music.
