Rozanna Madylus will sing the role of Hänsel in Hampstead Garden Opera’s production of Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel. The opera, Directed by Jeanne Pansard-Besson, conducted by Thomas Payne, will be sung in the original German with English surtitles.

You can see Rozanna as Hänsel on 10th, 12th, 16th and 18th November 2023.

Described as having “an engaging stage presence” (The Daily Telegraph) and giving “compelling performances, offering fluid line and gripping conviction” (Opera Magazine), Rozanna Madylus is a graduate of The Royal Academy Opera School, where she was recipient of The Karaviotis Scholarship, The Sir Charles Mackerras Award and The Carr-Gregory Trust Award.
