Paddington Trio’s autumn 2023 dates
2022 CMF Artists the Paddington Trio have announced a host of live concert dates for autumn 2023 – catch them live soon.
The Paddington Trio’s violinist, Tuulia Hero, has been loaned a 1707 Stradivarius violin by the Sibelius Academy.
Tuulia is a graduate of the Sibelius Academy. She has also studied at Berlin’s Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, learning from Levon Chilingirian, Adrian Brendel, and David Dolan.
“I’m so grateful to the Sibelius Academy for loaning me this fine instrument,” Hero said. “Not only will it support me in further developing my own voice, it will richly contribute to the collective sound of our Paddington Trio. [I am] looking hugely forward to all concerts to come and would love to have everyone join us.”
Having started their first adventure together at Paddington Station during the pandemic in 2020, the Paddington Trio has quickly emerged as a unique and versatile ensemble. The trio recently won first prize in the 70th Royal Over-Seas League Competition for Strings & Piano Ensemble and have become 2022 City Music Foundation Artists.
