Soprano Siân Dicker has been featured in Arts Desk’s Best of 2022: Classical Music concerts, a round up of David Nice’s favourite concerts from the year.
Nice praised his first hearing of Siân’s voice at Snape Maltings from a weekend of Britten voice-and-piano song cycles. He commented that his “the revelations among the unremitting pleasures and harrowings for me [was]… lyric-dramatic young soprano Siân Dicker in the Pushkin cycle The Poet’s Echo (in Russian – Britten never ceased to amaze).”
‘Oozing characterful expression’ with ‘ample tones, gorgeously rich in the middle’ (Opera Today), spinto soprano Siân Dicker is in demand for her rich, full-bodied voice and dramatic flair. Known for her expressive characterisation and genuine connection with audiences, Siân performs regularly on both the recital and opera stage.
