Cordelia Williams’ album, Cascade, featuring music by Beethoven, Schumann and Prokofiev was released on SOMM Recordings recently.

Writing in Gramophone to promote the new album, Cordelia said that ‘I love the thought that each flower or leaf, each moment in time, and each human interaction is unrepeatable’.

It has now been reviewed by The Arts Desk, who stated that “Williams’s taut, colourful playing is compelling”.

Cordelia Williams-Charlton has been acclaimed as a pianist of great power and delicate sensitivity, drawing in audiences with her rich sound, natural eloquence and “spell-binding simplicity”.
