Ensemble Hesperi’s latest news
Ensemble Hesperi have shared an updated on their recent and upcoming performances.
This year’s Cowbridge Music Festival features not one but two City Music Foundation Artists. Harpist Gwenllian Llŷr presents an intimate, candlelit recital from her brand new CD, whilst violist Rosalind Ventris performs with the “sparky, shape-shifting ensemble” (Arts Desk) the Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective.
Performing on Saturday 17th September at 19:00, Rosalind and the Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective bring a programme that combines celebrated piano quartets by Mozart and Dvořák with exciting works by Fanny Mendelssohn and Errolyn Wallen.
And on Friday 23rd September at 21:30, Gwenllian Llŷr presents a series of soliloquies for solo harp, combining Welsh folk tunes with her own beautiful compositions. Both concerts take place at Holy Cross Parish Church.
