Gwenllian Llŷr

Welsh harpist Gwenllian Llyr is quickly gaining international recognition for her charismatic and engaging performances.

Gwenllian, who works with the strings department on their chamber music activity, said on her Facebook page “Wythnos fishi arall, ond hyfryd cael rhannu newyddion da! So excited to share that I’ve been awarded an Associate Honour (ARAM) from the Royal Academy of Music 🥰 I may have only been a student for a solitary year, but managed to pack a lot of learning and development into that year, including being the first to complete an Advanced Diploma in Harp. I love that I still have a relationship with RAM in a different capacity, working with the strings department as a coordinator for their chamber music activities-it works perfectly alongside my harp career and parenting. Plus it keeps me in the know about all the goings on 😉
Looking forward to the ceremony in May 🎶
