Sir Nicholas Kenyon Reviews ‘500 Years of Organ Music for Royal Occasions’ for the Observer

City Music Foundation is delighted that Sir Nicholas Kenyon, Managing Director of the Barbican, has reviewed the new CD ‘500 Years of Organ Music for Royal Occasions’ in the Observer’s weekend supplement. The CD features a ‘sparkling recital by the organist of St Lawrence Jewry….. Catherine Ennis travels all the way from Byrd and Gibbons via Mozart arrangements to Walton – all of it played with lively articulation, and ending with a rumbustious Handel Fireworks Suit.’
