Marcos Nicolás Sosa records with Philharmonia Orchestra
CMF International Exchange Programme Artist Marcos Nicolás Sosa has returned to the UK to record with Philharmonia Orchestra.
City Music Foundation is delighted that Sir Nicholas Kenyon, Managing Director of the Barbican, has reviewed the new CD ‘500 Years of Organ Music for Royal Occasions’ in the Observer’s weekend supplement. The CD features a ‘sparkling recital by the organist of St Lawrence Jewry….. Catherine Ennis travels all the way from Byrd and Gibbons via Mozart arrangements to Walton – all of it played with lively articulation, and ending with a rumbustious Handel Fireworks Suit.’
