Samson Tsoy and Ligeti Quartert’s Aldeburgh performances review

Two CMF Artists appearing at this year’s Aldeburgh Festival have garnered favourable reviews for their performances. The Arts Desk, reviewing the Ligeti Quartet’s Ligeti Day, which saw the group give the premieres of 15 new works in one programme, said that “To premiere 15 new works in a single programme and adapt perfectly to the various styles, the Ligeti Quartet’s crowning glory of three events celebrating their namesake’s centenary, is simply superhuman.”

Meanwhile, Samson Tsoy’s performance with fellow pianist Pavel Kolesnikov at Blythburgh Church was described as “totally poised”.
