A lunchtime concert featuring Mikeleiz-Zucchi Duo from 1pm at Pewterers’ Hall
This concert, from Mikeleiz-Zucchi Duo (accordion and saxophone), 2022 CMF Artists, will take audiences on a fascinating musical journey beginning in late 16th century Germany with a suite from Michael Praetorius. We then journey to more modern times with jazz works by Gershwin and Sidney Bechet. Completing the programme, the Duo will take us into the sultry tango clubs of Argentina with one of Piazzolla’s most iconic works, the virtuosic and heady Histoire du Tango. It’s the perfect concoction for a summer’s afternoon.
Tickets are only available in advance via City Music Foundation’s website.
