Premiere of ‘Out of Eden’ success

Current CMF Artist, Edward Picton-Turbervill receives positive review following the successful premiere performance of his composition, ‘Out of Eden’.

On Tuesday the 15th of April, the London Choral Sinfonia, conducted by Michael Waldron, performed a thought-provoking and “powerful programme of contemporary music celebrating planet earth”. The centre-piece was the premiere of Edward Picton-Turbervill’s monumental work, ‘Out of Eden’. Hailed as “clearly a labour of passionate conviction and concern”, the programme sought to tackle climate concerns in the modern world through ancient texts.

“All in all: a triumph”

“I can bear witness to its immense power and the profound effect it had on a rapt audience”
