Welcome to a special in this series of Clock Tower live broadcast concerts, with Helen Charlston, Mezzo-Soprano, Michael Craddock baritone and Alexander Soares on Piano.

During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, 2018 CMF Artist Helen Charlston has inspired an amazing collection of composers and poets to channel their creativity into a tangible, positive response to this time of chaos and change.

Helen will bring the premiere of this book of 15 songs to concert in collaboration with City Music Foundation and we are looking forward to sharing these beautiful new compositions at this performance.

Composers involved in the project include Ben Rowarth’s work on A A Milne’s ‘The King’s Breakfast’, Heloise Werner new work set to Alistair Lewis’ ‘The Orange Vendor’, Owain Park, Richard Barnard, Nathan Dearden and James Davy.

==========

City Music Foundation is hosting a series of live broadcasts, providing an experience for both audience and performers which everyone has so desperately missed since March.

The events will be streamed live on YouTube, and you will be able to see and hear the performances in real time via any suitable device. The recitals are free, but we would be grateful for your support for all the CMF artists during this very difficult time for live music.

YOU CAN DONATE ONLINE HERE.

Please ensure you sign up to the CMF mailing list in order to be the first to hear about our next concerts.

The recitals will be on Wednesdays at 6pm streamed from St Pancras Clock Tower
