Helen Charlston in Dido and Aeneas review

Helen Charlston’s performance as the Sorceress in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas at Grange Park Opera has been reviewed by The Article. 

Performed as a double bill with Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice, Dido and Aeneas, it was deemed a “treat of baroque opera”, and that “Helen Charlston [was] a firm Sorceress in the Dido, and the whole cast sang beautifully in the choral numbers.
