Ensemble Hesperi review by Planet Hugill

Ensemble Hesperi lunchtime concert

Ensemble Hesperi’s concert exploring the musical lives of Queen Charlotte and King George III at Six Fitzroy Square has been reviewed by Planet Hugill.

Robert Hugill wrote that “the musical side to things is full of delightful variety, and it is not just the well-known, we hear a violin sonata by Jane Mary Guest, piano teacher to Princess Amelia. The music features works loved by the Queen, including pieces by JS Bach and Graun from her beautifully bound collection.”

Ensemble Hesperi is a dynamic and innovative London-based Early Music ensemble, dedicated to showcasing Baroque music through imaginative programming and collaboration with other art forms.
