Ensemble Hesperi releases new film

Ensemble Hesperi’s recent concert has been released as a film on YouTube. The project, Celestial Music did the Gods Inspire has been generously supported by the Continuo Foundation.

The concert, celebrating the music of Purcell and Blow, and tells the intriguing story of the “Battle of the Organs”, and was filmed by Tom Mungall. This project was also the launch event for Ensemble Hesperi’s new vocal ensemble, Hesperi Voices.
