Ensemble Hesperi have shared an updated on their recent and upcoming performances.
Caroline Taylor has performed a recital at the Royal Opera House which included Dvořák’s “Ach, není, není tu”.
Caroline said on Facbook “I am especially honoured to have performed Dvořák’s “Ach, není, není tu” at the ROH as it was Emmy Destinn’s favourite song and she would have likely sung it here too (thank you Emmy Destinn Foundation for this lovely fact). Can’t wait to give our programme another outing soon”.
Praised for her “glittering soprano” (The Times), Caroline Taylor graduated with Distinction from the RNCM, where she won the 2018 Joyce and Michael Kennedy Strauss Award and was a Finalist in the Gold Medal. She is the winner of the 2019 Dean and Chadlington Singing Competition and the 2021 Emmy Destinn Young Singers Award.
