A4 Brass Quartet

A4 Brass Quartet will perform at Finland’s Lieksa Brass Week, the biggest brass festival in the Nordic countries. Lieksa Brass Week includes music courses, international competition and the classical concert series as well as open air performances. This year’s theme for Brass week is Brass of Comfort and Hope.

A4 Brass Quartet is comprised of principal players from two of the UK’s top brass bands, Grimethorpe Colliery Band and Foden’s.

With “technical virtuosity in abundance” (Brass Band World), these four astonishing musicians come together to perform both lyrical and high-octane works, creating a distinctive sound, and a new take on chamber music.
