Friday 27th November – Paddington Trio
Critically acclaimed as “three virtuosic musicians who play as one and live every note,” the Paddington Trio is one its generation’s leading ensembles, recognised for its fresh, authoritative interpretations of the great Classical canon and exuberant energy in performing today’s most compelling contemporary music. Much like the famous bear, Finnish violinist Tuulia Hero, Irish cellist Patrick Moriarty, and American pianist Stephanie Tang first came together at Paddington Station and made London their home. With energetic ommunication, and highly refined ensemble playing, they continue to captivate audiences in prominent halls and series worldwide, and bring the Winter Residency to a close with a programme of Haydn, Tchaikovsky and Andrea Tarrodi.

City Music Foundation – Turning Talent into Success
CMF provides career development for selected exceptional performing musicians, mainly classical, in the early stages of their professional careers. CMF helps them with the business of music, including essential non-musical skills – building a network, getting noticed, getting performances and reviews, and more – so as to secure their future careers.  From an ever-growing number of very talented applicants we select a cohort of artists each year who we believe have the potential to become the most sought after soloists and ensembles of their generation. CMF Artists benefit day to day from the experience and expertise of the CMF Team, and the extensive network of music industry professionals and established professional musicians who support us.
