Paddington Trio to take part in Brighton Festival 2023
Paddington Trio will be playing Haydn and Brahms in the Brighton Theatre Royal at lunchtime on 22 May as part of the Brighton Festival
City Music Foundation and AngloArts (in conjunction with the Conaculta, Mexico) are delighted to announce Eusebio Sanchez as the first musician to take part in the innovative UK Mexico CMF Scholarship Programme, commencing September 2015.
In a public concert on 24 April at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, marimba player Sanchez was selected from a final round of three sensational musicians. The panel included chair of the CMF judging panel Ian Ritchie, director of Cenidim Festival, Bitrán Yael Goren, and flautist Horacio Franco.
The international scholarship holders will benefit from CMF’s core professional development programme with workshops together with other CMF Artists. They will also be assigned artistic and business mentors chosen to offer the right support to each artist, and concert formats and venues will also be specially chosen to benefit the profile of the scholarship holders. Back in Mexico, the scholarship holder will be part of an outreach programme, using his or her new skills to benefit young musicians at home.
CMF more than looking forward to our first concert on October 14th which will be the first opportunity to see Sanchez to perform in London!
