Emmanuel Copey wins Barbash J.S. Bach Competition

2022 CMF Artist Emmanuel Coppey has won the 2023 Lillian and Maurice Barbash J.S. Bach Competition.

The grand prize of of $5,000 also includes five paid performance engagements. He will have the opportunity to perform at concert with the Gotham Early Music Scene (GEMS), with further performance engagements with the Washington Bach Consort, Amor Artis, and the Bach Choir of Bethlehem.

A 2022 City Music Foundation artist, Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel Artiste en Résidence, Frankfurt Ensemble Modern Academy and London Contemporary soloists member, London-based French violinist Emmanuel Coppey is building a promising concert career.
